Part 107 recurrent training explained
What you need to do every 24 calendar months to keep flying commercially under Part 107.
The 24-month rule
To exercise the privileges of your Remote Pilot Certificate you must have completed initial or recurrent aeronautical knowledge training or testing within the previous 24 calendar months.
How to complete it
The FAA offers free online recurrent training through FAASafety.gov. Keep your completion certificate with your remote pilot certificate.
Refresher courses
Some schools offer refresher classes that cover rule changes, night operations and airspace authorisations. These are optional and do not replace the FAA requirement.
